Over the course of my educational journey I have taken a variety of classes that have shaped and fine-tuned my ability to Illustrate, including drawing and animation classes. I am proficient with digital illustration as well as traditional, and I also have the skills to properly digitize traditional works.
Designer
Similarly, I have learned the skills necessary to create typographical and vector designs and implement them in both print and digital media. I also have an understanding of typographical hierarchy and how to lay out a document for print production in Adobe InDesign.
Studio Artist
Finally, the foundation of all of these skills is my studio art background. I am skilled in many mediums and have frequently used traditional art as key pieces and textures in digital designs. Sometimes, the most quality textures can only be achieved with physical mediums first.
About Me.
My name is Cassidy Nicole Cannon, I am 21 years old and a recent graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Glen Burnie MD, my journey begins back in high school when I was chosen to be a part of the first cohort in my school to participate in a program with the local community college, called ECAP (Early College Access Program).
Beginning in 9th grade, the goal was to give students the opportunity to complete their Associates Degree at the same time as their High School Diploma. We were placed in AP courses and they brought college professors to our school to teach us classes. In the end I managed to finish my Associates Degree in Transfer Studies: Visual Arts a whole semester before I completed my senior year.
I am ready to work and willing to learn. Any skill that I may be lacking as of right now, I am more than willing to learn on the go. I am intimately familiar with obstacles and hardships and have often had to navigate changing situations and unusual circumstances to make it here today. With just a little patience I am capable of whatever you might need me to do. I'm looking forward to working with you!

I spent the majority of my time at Kutztown University as a Communication Design major, and was very close to completing it when I swapped majors to graduate early. Communication Design is Graphic Design with a purpose, I have learned how to use a wide variety of the programs in the Adobe Creative Suite and how to use them effectively.
In addition, I have been taught how to illustrate both in Photoshop and Illustrator for the purpose of being used for business. I am also familiar with Print Media Production and know how to set files up to be sent to a printer. Finally, I am practiced in the skills necessary to combine my traditional art talents with digital design, including scanning and editing images of prints, stamps, and other drawings in such a way that they can be integrated into a Graphic Design project seamlessly to create the most intriguing and tactile designs possible.

At Anne Arundel Community College, I learned all of my foundational art skills in both two dimensional and three dimensional art. I took every opportunity I could to learn a new skill and as a result became a well rounded artist. From Drawing to Sculpture, my time here prepared me for anything.
